Gender differences found for weight, Alzheimer's link

A 23-year study of 2,300 adults found overweight middle-age women, especially those who carry extra pounds around the middle, may increase their risk of Alzheimer's disease by more than sixfold. For men, researchers found a more than fivefold increased risk if they were underweight at age 30, 40 or 45.
