Quick, does talking fast make you look smart?

If it's true "entrepreneurs are walking billboards for their companies," then how, wonders Entrepreneur.com, "can you be sure you're communicating the right message?" From body language to tone of voice, it's the little things that add up to a big first impression. Take speed-talking. "Bright people have a tendency to talk fast because their minds move fast," voice coach Sandra McKnight says. But listeners perceive a fast talker to be anxious instead of smart -- not exactly the first impression one would hope for.
