Report recommends lifting travel restrictions for Cuba

Among a host of other recommendations, a report compiled by former policymakers from Latin America and the U.S. suggests that the restrictions for Americans interested in traveling to Cuba be lifted. Also, the report says the U.S. should remove Cuba from its list of terrorism sponsors. "This may make the over-40 generation of Cuban-Americans in Miami jump-up-and-down mad, but there is a whole generation of Cuban-Americans who want to change this relationship," said Thomas R. Pickering, a former undersecretary of state.
