Column: Adjusted October construction starts fall

After accounting for a seasonal adjustment, October construction starts declined 3% from September levels, writes Jim Haughey. He notes that residential starts have declined 37% from year-ago levels while non-residential building has fallen 19%. Meanwhile, experts say the educational and health care construction industries may grow next year, and they predict significant improvements in the overall economy.
