Google may combine Android, Chrome operating systems

Google's two operating systems -- its device-based Android and its Internet-centric Chrome software are "likely to converge over time," Google co-founder Sergey Brin said recently as he was introducing Chrome's latest update. The move would blur the lines even more between smartphones and laptops, especially the new "netbook" computers. Also relating to Android, Google has released turn-by-turn navigation for all phones running Version 1.6 after being exclusive to the Motorola Droid.
