HHS report explains state-by-state impact of health overhaul

The HHS has released a report detailing the potential impact of the Senate's health reform legislation on each state, in an effort to demonstrate that "the health care status quo is not an option for our states." In Iowa, the overhaul would help more than 400,000 residents who are uninsured or who have nongroup insurance to get affordable coverage, and also help 48,600 small businesses buy premiums through a tax credit, according to HHS.
