Eateries prep for a short season of big sales

About 46 million Americans will spend money at restaurants while shopping on Thanksgiving and Black Friday, according to an NRA survey, as eateries gear up for a shorter-than-usual shopping season. Mall-based chains including Auntie Anne's and Cinnabon are preparing by beefing up staffing levels, preparing to open for longer hours and hoping no storms crop up to take even more days out of the season.
