LEED v4 system was officially launched at last week's Greenbuild conference in Philadelphia. The new version, which now includes evaluation of chemical toxicity in materials, is already being used by more than 120 projects throughout the world, according to the U.S. Green Building Council. LEED v4 is a "quantum leap," said Rick Fedrizzi, USGBC president, CEO, and founding chair. However, not all are pleased with the new version.
