Missouri district's cum laude system expands recognition of top graduates

The Francis Howell School District has voted to implement a new graduation recognition system that eventually will honor the top 10% to 15% of graduates, rather than just the salutatorian and valedictorian. The district believes switching to a cum laude system will eliminate competition from academics.
