Energy, highways are part of Obama's stimulus plan

The economic-stimulus plan that President-elect Barack Obama will propose in January will be much bigger than the one he proposed a few weeks ago, spending enough on infrastructure and other job-creating growth to, as he puts it, "get this economy back on track." An Obama aide said the funds may be used in part for highway projects, alternative-energy initiatives, tax cuts, education programs and state government aid.
