Horn player who cannot see performs with school marching band

A French horn player who cannot see is performing in the marching band at a Colorado high school. Freshman Derek Reimer performs with the help of fellow band member Melissa McNally, who helps guide Reimer through the routines. The two have developed their own communication system to help keep Reimer in time with the band's movements. During a practice, the band director asked everyone to play and march with their eyes closed. "We were so off, and I think it was then everyone realized that what Derek does is incredible," McNally said.
