Many Americans opt for cheaper modes of travel

As Americans prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving, many are opting against air travel for less expensive alternatives, such as traveling by train or car. In addition to the expense, air travel has become viewed as frustrating and a hassle. Meanwhile, many see train travel as an adventure.
