New Hampshire alternative school is renamed for special educator

An alternative high school in New Hampshire has been renamed for a longtime educator who worked to ensure an equal learning environment for students of all abilities. The Portsmouth Alternative Secondary School was renamed the Robert J. Lister Academy, for the now-retired educator who helped found the alternative school program in 1990 and is credited with helping to create the district's special-education department.
