Reinforced roof supports bell tower on historic Alaska church

The 609-pound bell and the tower that held it -- along with severe weather -- took its toll on the roof of the St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Juneau, Alaska. The tower was removed and workers created a stainless steel stand that they attached to the roof and painted white. The bell and its restored tower is now back, sitting atop its new stand on the historic church.
