Retailers from Wal-Mart to Macy's and shopping centers including the Mall of America have gotten more tech savvy this season, with smartphones apps that offer shoppers practical advice on traffic, parking, price alerts and promotions, in an effort to make the trip less stressful. “With the speed that people are shopping with on Black Friday, they need to be really efficient about how they’re spending their time,” said Macy's vice president of digital media Jennifer Kasper.
