Kerry may have tough time selling Iran nuclear deal to Congress

The process of implementing a historic deal on Iran's nuclear program will prove more difficult than reaching the deal itself, Secretary of State John Kerry said Sunday after news of the deal broke. Although the deal calls for daily international monitoring of Iran's nuclear facilities and caps on its nuclear fuel stockpiles, lawmakers from both sides of the aisle in the U.S. lambasted the deal for granting Iran relief from harsh economic sanctions in return for what some said were too few concessions. Sen. Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., vowed to ignore the deal and press for more sanctions in response.
