Lawmakers dig in heels over Iran nuclear deal

Both Republicans and Democrats in Congress are protesting the White House's nuclear deal with Iran, saying that Tehran has won far more than it's had to give up in agreeing to curb its nuclear programs. Administration officials said that the deal, while not a permanent fix, was a crucial stepping-stone to a lasting solution. “You can’t get everything in the first step. You have to go down the process here,” Secretary of State John Kerry told reporters.
