What are CEOs doing to promote gender equality?

Leaders who attended The Wall Street Journal's recent CEO Council had several ideas about how to get more women into business leadership positions. Among other things, they pointed to the value of mentoring and the need for a shift in expectations. Companies have to abandon "this ethic that you have to devote yourself 100% to your job and somebody else takes care of your kids, whether it's your spouse or a nanny," said Dennis Blair, former director of national intelligence.
