Dow AgroSciences ramps up biotech corn production

Dow AgroSciences is speeding up production of its pest-resistant biotech corn variety, expanding cultivation in Hawaii, Argentina and Chile to meet the demands of farmers and grab a bigger chunk of the biotech crop market. Dow also is sharing genetic traits with Monsanto Co. in anticipation of launching a "super seed" with eight genetic traits by 2010.
