Nephrology RNs in demand as dialysis cases increase

There is a nationwide demand for nephrology nurses to care for a growing number of chronic kidney disease patients requiring dialysis. The increased patient load stems partly from a shortage of transplant organs. Nephrology nurses also educate patients on diet, hypertension and diabetes issues to help them keep their health from deteriorating even more.
