Public Utilities Commission approves Minnesota oil pipeline

Minnesota lawmakers approved construction of an oil pipeline linking Canada to Wisconsin. The 1,000-mile pipeline will bring oil from Canada to the northern U.S. states of Minnesota and Wisconsin. The Public Utilities Commission approved the pipeline from Enbridge Inc., but the company faces a few more regulatory hurdles before construction can begin.
