School-based clinic helps keep children healthy

A Nevada school-based health clinic is extending its services to all children in the community in hopes of ensuring more students receive immunizations and health services that help keep them from missing school due to sickness. The four nurse practitioners on staff "are just awesome because they treat the whole kid, not just the problem," said program coordinator Donna Hines. "They can come down here, we can treat them, and they go back to school."
