Trade group: Australia's canola sector benefits from biotech crops

Biotechnology plays an important role in maintaining the competitiveness of the canola industry in Australia, said Robert Green, president of the Australian Oilseeds Federation. The trade group said it uses "proven and agreed protocols and procedures" in developing biotech canola to satisfy consumer choice and demand.
