Deere to enhance factories in Ill., N.D.

Deere & Co. announced it plans to spend nearly $58 million to upgrade its facility in Moline, Ill. The investment will help the company make wider use of automation and robotics in production. Deere also broke ground on a $20 million expansion project at its plant in Valley City, N.D., that will add 100,000 square feet and create up to 100 jobs.
