Data from the International Food Information Council Foundation's 2012 Food & Health Survey showed only 16% of parents reported having a very or extremely healthful diet. Also, almost 70% said they were more concerned about the nutritional content of foods and drinks they purchase for their children than about the ones they get for themselves. Researchers also found that only 12% of parents described their physical activity levels as vigorous, compared with 17% of non-parents.
