Parents are more mindful of child's nutrition than their own

Data from the International Food Information Council Foundation's 2012 Food & Health Survey found only 16% of parents reported having a very or extremely healthful diet. Also, nearly 70% said they were more concerned about the health content of foods and drinks they purchase for their children than those they buy for themselves. Researchers also found that only 12% of parents described their physical-activity levels as vigorous, compared with 17% of adults who are not parents.
