Business cards have become so 2005, thanks to cellphone applications that allow people to exchange contact information and link the data to social and business networks. Apps such as Bump, CardMunch and Contacts Journal -- some paid, some free -- take advantage of social media sites such as Facebook and LinkedIn to share information.
