Barry Callebaut expands natural colorants to include red

Barry Callebaut is tapping into seasonal opportunities and the clean label trend by adding red to its printable colorant range that is free of E-numbers. Purple, black and brown were already available, but red, made from a natural ingredient, opens opportunities for Valentine's Day and Christmas as well as the upcoming FIFA World Cup. Callebaut worked collaboratively with other companies to produce the natural Cocoart Collection colorants that can be printed on sheets or rolls and then applied to products such as boxed chocolates.
