Grocers facing a plastic-bag ban can implement measures to successfully communicate the requirement to customers, writes Pete Grande, CEO of Command Packaging and Encore Recycling. Initiatives include signs to alert customers, educating staff to respond to common questions, creative displays to remind customers to bring reusable bags and encouraging recycling of plastic bags at the end of their useful life.
