How crowdfunding could backfire

Entrepreneurs could run into trouble down the line if they allow a large number of investors who aren't familiar with startup culture to put money into their startups, writes lawyer and angel investor Ed Zimmerman. The problem is that unsophisticated investors -- even wealthy ones -- "often expect greater liquidity and a shorter investment horizon than startup investments typically provide," he writes.
