Investors pour $826M into IPO of Goldman closed-end fund

Goldman Sachs' first move to enter the market of closed-end funds was greeted with such strong investor response that analysts say it might inject life into the entire sector. Investors put $826 million into the Goldman Sachs MLP Income Opportunities Fund, making it the biggest initial public offering of a closed-end fund since June. The fund focuses on energy master limited partnerships.
