NYC restaurant owners speak out against polystyrene foam bill

New York City restaurant and business owners went to City Hall on Monday to argue against a bill that would ban polystyrene foam foodservice products. The American Chemistry Council and unions also oppose the bill, which was introduced earlier this year by the Bloomberg administration. Recent data show business will have to spend almost twice as much on polystyrene alternatives if the bill is passed.
