Seno enrolls 100th patient in breast imaging device study

Seno Medical said it has enrolled the first 100 patients in a pivotal clinical trial of its Imagio opto-acoustic breast imaging device. The system, which combines light-based imaging with conventional ultrasound, allows doctors to examine suspicious breast masses without the need to subject patients to biopsies, radiation and injectable contrast agents.
