Honest Tea seeks most sustainable bottling option

Although the Honest Tea company prides itself on environmentally friendly practices ranging from purchasing bicycles for its employees to the installation of bamboo floors, packaging its products in bottles still creates a quandary. The Bethesda, Md.-based company uses PET plastic bottles that can be recycled only once, but are seven times lighter than its glass bottles, providing numerous other eco-benefits.
