Reports: Cyber Monday sales hit $700 million

Cyber Monday sales were up 15% from last year, according to comScore. Online shoppers gravitated toward consumer electronics merchants to purchase smaller items and spent on average $347.44 per person, according to the NRF. The record Cyber Monday results followed a Thanksgiving weekend that saw a 4.8% increase from last year, with 147 million people shopping.
