Study: Sucrose, fructose may raise pancreatic cancer risk

Consumption of high levels of sucrose and fructose might lead to an increased risk of pancreatic cancer, while insulin resistance caused by excess weight and obesity might also be a significant factor, experts found. Amid such criticisms, high-calorie soda and soft drink manufacturers have shifted more toward health and functional offerings.
