Universal agrees to plans for major theme park near Seoul

Universal Parks & Resorts has entered an agreement with the Gyeonggi province of South Korea for a $3.1 billion theme park to be built about 20 miles south of Seoul. The development, which will include hotels, a convention center, outlet mall and golf courses, is scheduled to open in 2012.
