N.Y. medical specialists get $1 million boost to adopt EHRs

Capital District Physicians Health Plan is providing 800 specialists in its network with $1 million to help them adopt electronic health records, achieve meaningful use and link with the Health Information Exchange of New York. The funding adds to the more than $10 million investment offered by the New York-based insurer to assist its providers with EHR transition and data interoperability.
