Device lets owner track pet's every move

Japanese electronics maker Fujitsu has developed Wandant, a sensor worn around a dog's neck that detects the animal's every move and information such as ambient temperature. The sensor links with a Web program that organizes the data and displays it for the owner. The company hopes the technology will become a tool veterinarians can use to monitor patients.
