Kennametal announces expansion in China, new facility in U.S.

Toolmaker Kennametal has announced plans to expand its facility in China and to build a new carbide recycling plant in the U.S. The projects will help the company make improvements in sustainability and will diversify its tungsten sourcing. "This is an exciting first for our company, demonstrating our commitment to invest in sustainability and advanced technology, strengthening our leadership in America, and our service to customers around the world," said Carlos Cardoso, Kennametal's president and CEO and chairman of MAPI's board of trustees.
