Amazon goes posh with pricey art and high-end wine

Amazon has established a reputation for online deals that has grown as the retailer increases merchandise categories. However, art and wine, recently added and sold through third parties, are priced at anything but a bargain. "Everything we do at Amazon starts with the customer and works itself backwards," said Peter Faricy, vice president of marketplace. "Those are all categories customers have given us the feedback that they would love to get."
