Think tanks suggest different approaches to sequestration

The Center for American Progress and the Heritage Foundation have both suggested different approaches to sequestration. "Reducing the defense sequester gives the Pentagon flexibility to draw down national security spending in a responsible and strategic manner," said Harry Stein, associate director for fiscal policy at CAP. Meanwhile, Romina Boccia, a budget analyst at the Heritage Foundation, called for lawmakers to "budget within sequestration spending levels."
