Rothstein: Statistics Should Get More Attention

The study of statistics is getting short shrift in high schools, according to columnist Richard Rothstein of The New York Times. Rothstein says instruction in basic statistics would introduce a more practical way of thinking to high school math classes and could help students land jobs in technical fields.
