BioE seeks FDA approval for cord blood device

BioE has applied for FDA approval to market its PrepaCyte-CB system, a device used in collecting and separating stem cells from human umbilical cord blood. The device could help cord blood banks improve their processing techniques and protocols, a BioE executive said.
