Google to invest big in green energy

Google Inc. said Tuesday it will invest hundreds of millions of dollars in solar, wind and geothermal technologies with the goal of making those energy resources more cost-effective than coal. "Solar isn't currently cheaper than coal. That's the point of this -- to get it there," said Larry Page, co-founder of the Internet giant.
