Activision CEO touts "Skylanders" game sales

Bobby Kotick, CEO of Activision Blizzard, told Reuters that competitor Electronic Arts faces a tough challenge in pitting its "Battlefield 3" and "Star Wars: The Old Republic" games against Activision's "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3" and "World of Warcraft" offerings. Kotick also said sales of Activision's new "Skylanders" video game, which is aimed at younger children, are exceeding expectations, adding that the game may sell out at U.S. retailers this holiday season.
