Cisco banks on increasing demand for collaboration tech

Cisco Systems says it expects to profit from an increasing enterprise need for collaboration technology, saying the field presents a $42 billion market that can be tapped by its resellers -- a figure doesn't include the collaboration-services market. The company says it is focusing on collaboration tools in the virtual, social, mobile and visual spaces. The trend is being driven in part by a shift away from traditional PC use toward mobile technologies, the company says.
