N.J. bill would provide benefits to job trainees

A bill that would allow recently unemployed workers to continue receiving jobless benefits while training at a company has been approved by the New Jersey Assembly's Labor Committee. The program would cost $3 million, which critics say the state can't afford. Similar bills were vetoed this year by Gov. Chris Christie.
