Study: 40% of job seekers have a social media problem

More than a quarter of Australian managers now routinely screen job candidates' social media profiles, according to a Telstra study -- and they say they're finding red flags in 4 out of 10 cases. Inappropriate photos, discriminatory comments and negative statements about previous employers are all potential warning signs for employers, the study found.
