Study looks at factors affecting post-immunization sleep duration

A study in the journal Pediatrics showed that babies who received their immunizations after 1:30 p.m. and those who experienced increased temperature due to the vaccines had increased sleep duration in the first 24 hours following immunization. Researchers also reported slight increases in sleep duration in babies who were given acetaminophen at or after immunization.
